			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Before you can understand what causes anxiety attacks, you first have to understand that there are a lot of different reasons why a person might get an anxiety disorder. One person&#8217;s trigger might not do anything to another person, but there are a few things that have been proven to increase the odds of anxiety attacks. Researchers have uncovered a few specific things that can increase anxiety conditions ranging from biological to life experiences.</p>
<p>First, some people just have anxiety and panic programmed into their genetics. There is mounting evidence that shows that your heredity and the environment you were raised in can lead to panic and anxiety attacks, but this is no excuse to stop looking for freedom. There are studies that conclude that anxiety episodes can run in families. When one identical twin acquires a panic disorder, the other twin tends to run a greater risk of also ending up with a panic disorder. Non-identical twins share a much weaker link, indicating that genetics does play a role. There is also evidence that suggests that anxiety can be a learned behavior as well that we take up from our parents.</p>
<p>Some times anxiety is the result of personality. Some personality types have a higher inclination of acquiring anxiety disorders. When someone suffers from low self-confidence they might tend to have more anxiety attacks than a person with high self-confidence. If you have not picked up effective ways of coping with stress from day to day life you also may have more frequent anxiety attacks. Type &#8220;A&#8221; personalities also seem to experience  <a href="http://www.howtopreventpanicattacks.com/go-to"  rel="nofollow" target="_blank" ><b>panic attacks</b></a>  and nervous breakdowns more frequently when their careful goals fail to pan out. We can adjust these personality faults by trading our beliefs for more flexible ones.</p>
<p>Things that happen in our lives can also result in anxiety attacks. When sustained for a long time, violent and abusive events tend to influence a person&#8217;s likelihood of experiencing  <a href="http://www.howtopreventpanicattacks.com/go-to"  rel="nofollow" target="_blank" ><b>panic attacks</b></a> . <p>Some medical conditions are also associated with increased levels of anxiety. Increased amounts of anxiety have been seem in cases of diabetes, high blood pressure, and overactive thyroid glands. Sometimes just the overwhelm of dealing with a serious condition can aggravate your anxiety.</p>

Our society encourages more and m <a href="http://www.howtopreventpanicattacks.com/"  rel="nofollow" target="_blank" ><b></b></a> ore stress for greater and greater success but the ravages of prolonged excess stress can change the body chemistry in many ways such as over-producing a hormone called cortisol. Excess cortisol causes many complications in the body over time, one of which is excessive weight gain. Cortisol and weight gain as well as difficulties with weight loss are directly related to excess stress. Stress management can be accomplished in many ways. Meditation, prayer, and other forms of relaxation are often helpful in stress management. The effects of excess stress on the body can be wide ranging. Most existing health challenges are made worse by excess stress. Nutrition can also come to the rescue in helping to physically manage stress. Stress management with nutrition would include the B complex vitamins, especially pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid directly supports the adrenal glands, helping to prevent their exhaustion. Stress can come from many sources such as job stress, student stress, financial or economic stress, lack of sleep or rest and therefore stress reduction through proven stress management techniques becomes essential. Since much of the stress in our lives today doesn&#8217;t really produce a need for physical response, the stress response cycle often fires at the &#8216;false alarm&#8217;. Since we don&#8217;t react physically, in most cases to stressors, the powerful chemicals secreted by the adrenal glands exercise a dramatic effect on the entire body. When these chemicals are not used as in physical action, they can have detrimental effects on the body, over time exhausting the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands produce a variety of hormones, the most common of which are the stress hormones.
